Panama Canal - Partial Transit

These pictures, and there are a lot of them are from my ride through the Panama Canal on a ferry boat.  We started our ferry ride in the city of Gamboa, this was about 1 hour and 45 minuets from the ship in Colon (Caribbean coast).  We went through three locks starting with the Pedro Miguel locks and ending at the Pacific coast with the Miraflores locks (actually two locks).  The bus ride back to the ship from the Balboa Pier was about 1 hour and 30 minutes.  This was a long excursion but WELL worth the time and money.  The minimum to travel through on your own boat is $500, a cruise ship will pay about $340,000 to travel through the entire canal.

These are in order as they were shot on the ferry ride.
